ProtoTAU Team ACHES Visit
On 2nd March 2023, members of the ProtoTAU team from the University of Aberdeen came to visit the ACHES facility for a tour. This young team of mechanical engineers were the first Scottish team to compete in the Shell Eco-Marathon. The tour was given by Louise Napier (HyTrEc2 Project manager) and Cameron Smith (HyTrEc2 comms lead). During the tour, the HyTrEc2 Nexo car was used for demonstrating how to refuel a hydrogen car (photo above).
Throughout the visit, the team were able to gain valuable insights into Aberdeen's hydrogen-fuelling infrastructure and the technology behind it. Moreover, the team developed a deeper understanding of the potential of hydrogen as a clean energy source and could see first hand how H2 Aberdeen are making strides in advance this technology.
Good luck at the Shell-Eco Marathon in France next year team.
