HyTrEc2 joins the Stronghouse Hydrogen Tour

This March, the HyTrEc2 partnership joined forces with the inspiring Interreg North Sea Region Stronghouse project on their hydrogen best practices tour across the Northern Netherlands and Bremerhaven. The focus of the Stronghouse H2 Tour was to demonstrate hydrogen applications in the built environment.

The Stronghouse Hydrogen Tour was organised by project partners from the Municipality of Hoogeveen and attended by Interreg North Sea Region Stronghouse project partners and stakeholders, in addition to some HyTrEc2 partners, given the clear synergies between the projects on a common theme: demonstrating hydrogen applications as a key component in the decarbonisation of the North Sea Region. One of the stops on the Stronghouse H2 Tour included the Eelde Airport's recently converted hydrogen ground power unit, made possible thanks to the Interreg North Sea Region HyTrEc2 project.

The Hydrogen Tour included interesting presentations, inspiring site visits and plenty of opportunities for amongst creative minds and technical experts to connect under the theme of hydrogen solutions. For a detailed synopsis of the event, visit the Stronghouse project's latest article on their website.
