Væksthus Midtjylland (Denmark)
Væksthus Midtjylland (Business Development Centre Central Denmark, BDCCD) is in contact with entrepreneurs and SMEs on a daily basis. It is their goal to support them in starting up and running their businesses in the region, with the purpose of providing guidance on themes relevant to growth.Thematic competences and experiences
BDCCD provices knowledge and network and serves more than 1.200 regional based businesses in a year. It does so in close cooperation with municipalities, Central Denmark Region and The Danish Business Authoritative. 60% of the businesses are active in the production area. For ten years the organisation has been leading projects co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund and/or the European Social Fund.
Benefit for the organisation from participating in the project
The project will provide Væksthus Midtjylland, as consultants, tools and knowledge to provide better services to businesses working in the high value production area. The focus on new industrial business models, implementation tools, the valueadded-component of the Industry 4.0 philosophy and the network to move across national and regional borders, will make the regional services stronger and make the organisation better suited to the job - to foster more growth in SMEs and more regional jobs in an area under pressure.
Main role
Since a large group of the organisation's target populations is manufacturing SMEs, they will be able to provide inputs (cases) to the project, provide inputs to a research team from experienced business consultants working with manufacturing SMEs on a daily basis, and act as a platform for practical testing and application of new methods and ideas. Hereby help evaluate the results and tools developed in the project.
