Open Energy Day Haarlem
Come to the Open Energy Day on 11 September 2021
Discover the world behind the wall socket and the thermostat. Where do electricity and heat actually come from? And how do we ensure that energy is increasingly cleaner? It becomes tangible during the Open Energy Day.
Haarlemmer Kweektuin: The solar roof of energy cooperative KweekZon was recently officially opened. In the Haarlemmer Kweektuin, 662 solar panels have been installed on the greenhouses since May. On this solar roof, you can see Haarlem's 100,000th solar panel. You can see the solar installation, get an explanation on how it was realised and how members can benefit from the advantages.
Het Seinwezen: A collective solar roof has been realised for and by local residents on the roof of the Seinwezen. The Seinwezen is open for visits and the collective solar roof can be viewed from the green roof of the Seinwezen. The Seinwezen is a beautiful preserved industrial heritage of Haarlem near the railway.
Discover the hybrid heat pump
The Experience Center for heat pumps in the centre of Haarlem has opened. The Experience Center is located in a monumental building from 1850. The national monument is completely off natural gas. Owner Pieter Reijnders wants to show visitors how to do this and that it really doesn't have to cost as much as people often think.
Car park full of solar panels
The solar roof at Bloemendaal aan Zee is a roofing solution for the parking spaces at the beach with 5,000 solar panels.
