A new resource for schools and children to learn about rivers

The Rivers Trust thrives on educating people about how important rivers are - they love to explain how they're formed and talk about the fantastic array of habitats and wildlife that derive from them.
Rivers are so important that they form a significant part of the Geography National Curriculum in schools and education.
That’s why The Rivers Trust has created a schools hub – a one-stop-shop for educational resources from our local Rivers Trusts across the country.
Use the school’s hub to find interactive resources for key stages 2, 3, 4 & 5.
Take a journey down the river on a virtual field trip, learn about GIS, how rivers are formed, and why they’re important.
Visit the Rivers Trust Schools Hub and start your river journey here.
