A new online community platform and knowledge hub launches

We are delighted to announce that a new Catchment Based Approach website has launched this week, to better connect people in collaborative and cross-sector management of the water environment.

Much of the site is structured around the implementation of the ‘Catchment Based Approach (CaBA)’ – an England (and cross-border) initiative supported by a government policy framework aimed at delivering a more integrated and inclusive approach to managing the water environment at the catchment scale.

However, the site is intended to provide much broader support for the implementation of similar participatory and partnership-based approaches throughout the UK, EU and further afield and has been developed with support from by the WaterCo-Governance (WaterCoG) project under the Interreg North Sea Region VB programme, funded by the European Regional Development Fund.

Head on over to the Learn section to find the latest tools, apps and case studies of resources created by catchment partnerships. With over 100 resources available, use the filter or search panel, to find what you are looking for.

Talk to others working in the sector using the new Discussion Forum.

Apps and tools by the Water Co-Governance team can be found here

We hope you enjoy the new website!
