First reporting round approved and positively assesed

25 September 2020

The WASP first round for reporting has been approved. We even received very positive feedback from Interreg North Sea Region.

After 1/5 of project implementation, we are making good progress towards our objectives and targeted outputs. We have set the groundwork for the continued implementation of the project and started to deliver on compulsory outputs. This also includes the delivery of the project's first pilot at the ship of Van Dam Shipping*, and a clear time plan for the delivery of the remaining pilots at Scandlines, Boomsma, Rörd Braren and Tharsis.

The project has initiated activities in all working packages, and the delivery of several deliverables is expected with the next reports. In terms of communication, we have started targeted communication towards the relevant stakeholders, and have managed to raise awareness of the project in the maritime community. Overall, we are very happy with the first months of the WASP project and looking forward to further project implementation.

* At the time of writing: 2 of the 5 WPT installations have been made (Scandlines).
