Surflogh presents at Vital Nodes Forum
This Forum was organized by the Vital Nodes Network, a European Union’s Horizon 2020 project. During a break out session on Innovative Last-Mile Logistics, several projects and best practices were shared. Major cities like Vienna, Tallinn, Bielefeld and Strasbourg exchanged nowledge about pilots and projects on sustainable city logistics. Furthermore, following Jeroen's presentation on the developments and pilots within the SURFLOGH project, delegates joined in a group discussion.
Once again it became clear that a change in last mile logistics requires a change of behavior, a change in business models and also a change in how we think about our cities. In the Interreg-NSR SURLOGH project, the partners are jointly develoing and testing these kind of innovative logistics solutions.
All attendees were kindly invited to the Midterm Conference of SURFLOGH that will take place in Edinburgh on May, 29th.
