The future of city deliveries

This summer the City of Mechelen, partner in Surflogh, held a test case with an automonous vehicle in the centre of Mechelen, Belgium.
"The city of Mechelen strives to become a liveable, sustainable city", says Veerle De Meyer, project partner in Surflogh and coordinator for the Mobility Team for the Municipality. "While working hard to achieve these aims we are looking to the future and believe that autonomous vehicles can play an important role in greening our city."
So, actions speak louder than words. Check out this film of the first test with such a vehicle in the heart of Mechelen. This demonstrates the future potential of autonomous driving in combination with innercity logistics and deliveries.
