Successful Start of the Sullied Sediments ProjectThe Sullied Sediments project was successfully launched at our kick-off meeting, which was held in January in Amsterdam. Over three days, our project beneficiaries and advisory partners all met together for the first time. There was a lot of positive and productive discussion as partners learned about all aspects of the project and started to plan how it would be delivered.
The project team is grateful to the partners who were able to attend and make the meeting a success. We would also like to thank Axel Kristiansen and Sarah Holsen from the Joint Secretariat for all their help, advice and time during the meeting.
The individual work packages are now meeting under the supervision of their lead partners to plan out their activities in detail. Over the next few months, we are expecting real progress to be made. We will be reporting on this progress at our first annual meeting, which will be held in Hull, UK, in September 2017.
