Meet the Partners – Natuur en Milieu Federatie Drenthe

The Stronghouse collaboration has expanded to include the Dutch association Natuur en Milieu Federatie Drenthe (NMFD). This NGO for the conservation of nature and the environment works closely with the Province of Drenthe and the region’s 12 municipalities on the Drents EnergieLoket – a digital information platform for homeowners considering energy renovations.

NMDF supports communities and businesses working on sustainable energy initiatives, instigates innovative energy-saving projects and participates in the development of local sustainable energy services.

Customer Relationship Management

Stronghouse will benefit from the NMFD’s expertise in advising and coaching private homeowners and neighbourhoods undertaking energy efficiency projects. NMFD uses a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to guide homeowners through their personal journey towards energy renovation. NMFD will share experience with CRM and lead the further development of Digital Homeowner Relationship Management instruments and the project’s market access and adoption strategies. This Stronghouse partner will pilot improved Data Driven Homeowner Engagement measures – enabling more homeowners to retrofit their homes, thus increasing CO2 reductions and generating increased investment.

As ‘new kid on the block’ in terms of Interreg and transnational cooperation, the NMDF is very enthusiastic about the opportunity to learn from other Stronghouse partners throughout the North Sea Region.
