EU Sustainable Energy Week 2020

EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) is organised by the European Commission and the biggest annual event dedicated to renewables and efficient energy use in Europe. From 22-26 June 2020, more than a thousand participants joined this inspiring online, interactive event under the theme: ‘Beyond the crisis: clean energy for green recovery and growth’.

Highlights included a 3-day policy conference featuring a high-level opening session, a debate with Ambassadors and EU Sustainable Energy Awards ceremony as well as matchmaking activities and virtual stands for participants. Discussions were also complemented by Energy Days, digital events engaging local communities, taking place all over Europe in May and June.

Energy wave

A number of Stronghouse representatives joined  more than a Thousand others in a series of inspiring web sessions dealing with the energy wave, retrofit, energy efficiency, smart funding tools and schemes that are attractive for both businesses and citizens - with a view to green recover. It is feared that the existing recession will increase energy poverty. Simple, affordable and reliable solutions are needed and cities, regions and governments must take action now.
