Energy Storage Europe will be postponed over safety concerns regarding the spread of Coronavirus. The new conference date is yet to be announced. The one-to-one meetings as organized by Scale-Up will take place digitally. The exact form and timing of the calls will be determined on a case by case basis based on the availability of buyers and suppliers

Scale-Up is organizing a large-scale Meet the Buyer events during the leading international trade fair for energy storage. The Energy Storage Europe is an international trade fair for energy systems, solutions, and services covering a wide range of electrical and thermal storage technologies as well as numerous effective storage and decarbonization projects. Topics include thermal storage, sector coupling, hydrogen and successful concepts & business models incorporating storage use.
Various international corporates will be scouting for innovative solutions during the Meet the Buyer sessions.
One of them is VOPAK. Royal Vopak is the world’s leading independent tank storage company. They operate a global network of terminals located at strategic locations along major trade routes.

Vopak is looking for innovations that can create value to new and existing supply chains. Specifically, they are looking for:
• Energy storage technologies
• Carbon capture
o Direct air capture
o Bio-energy with carbon capture and storage (BECCS)
• CO2 conversion
How to participate?
The Meet the Buyer event is invite only. Start-ups and scale-ups are subject to certain criteria as well as a review process in order to qualify. Matched companies will have one-to-one meetings with VOPAK.
All participants of the Meet the Buyer event will receive free access to the trade fair.
