CHANGE OF NAME AND ORGANIZATION DETAILS FOR LEAD BENEFICIARY
In 2017 the Norwegian Parliament adopted a regional reform which encompassed that by 2020 Norway must have 11 counties instead of the current 19. This decision meant that some smaller counties were to merge into larger neighboring counties. One of the results of the merging process is the Vestland County, which is composed by the Hordaland County Council (Lead Beneficiary in the RIGHT project) and the Sogn og Fjordane County Council. This change will be effective from 01.01.2020.
Management and administration in both counties have been working all year to make this change as smooth as possible. The implications for the RIGHT project are minimal and there will be no changes to the objectives, scope, or activities in the project.
Minor changes such as lead beneficiary's contact information, website, and internal communication platforms will gradually take place during the first half of 2020. The lead beneficiary will keep internal and external stakeholders informed.
More information on the merging of the two counties can be found here (in Norwegian).
