Examples of good results
Below are some examples from approved projects. Remember you cannot just copy these and expect success. Your results should mirror your project and must build on your activities and objectives.

| Comments: Here the objective is to set up permanent knowledge partnerships to get new research out to businesses. New products and services show that this process is working and is leading to actual product development. This was accompanied by a result measuring the increased turnover of participating SMEs. |

| Cars removed from public streets through car-sharing | 4,000 | Number of cars replaced by car sharing vehicles | Every car sharing car replaces up to 8 -14 private cars. These numbers also have significant impact on the amount of public street space consumed by cars. The replacement quotas will be assessed (through surveys among the CS users). |
| Comments: Here the objective is about new green transport solutions. This result shows that privately owned cars are being replaced with more sustainable solutions. It was accompanied by a CO2 reduction indicator. |

Comments: The objective here is to help small ports by identifying parts of their operations which can be modernised to provide reduced costs and carbon emissions. Both of these aspects were covered by the result indicators. It was essential for the project to provide good baseline figures to get the results approved. |

| Improvement of the buffer capacity (water quantity) | 20 | Percentage increase of buffer capacity | In pilots, concepts and tools to increase buffer capacity will be developed, modeled and tested. In some areas the target is to increase water retention for dry periods, in other areas to increase drainage to provide space for water to lower flooding risk. |

Comment: Here the objective is to demonstrate new and/or improved methods for improving the climate resilience of target sites in the North Sea Region. This result highlights that the tools and methods developed within the project will positively impact the management of water quantity at pilot sites. |

All of these indicators show that the project is delivering what the North Sea Region needs and capture the benefit that other organisations or companies could gain by adopting the same methods – and that's the secret of a good result.
