REFRAME exchange of knowledge with FOOD CORRIDORS

On October 29th, project coördinator Roos Galjaard from lead partner Groningen presented the REFRAME project to the project FOOD CORRIDORS, one of the networks operating within URBACT.
URBACT is a European exchange and learning programme promoting sustainable urban development. They enable cities to work together to develop solutions to major urban challenges, reaffirming the key role the are playing in facing increasingly complex societal changes.
Food Corridors is a network of seven European cities/territories joined to develop local/territorial food strategies.
Lead Expert Antonio Zafra (Cordoba, Spain) and the Lead Partner of the Food Corridor network (Intermunicipality of Coimbra in Portugal), proposed to their partners to be in contact with some European experience, like REFRAME, working in Europe to boost regional food chains. Although they were very excited to make a study visit, the corona pandemic threw a spanner in the works. Hopefully they still can visit us next year.
Instead of a real visit, REFRAME was introduced in Food Corridor's online transnational meeting. Roos Galjaard thus shared with them some comments about our experience and in particular successful initiatives aimed to foster regional chains and brands.
