The district of Wesermarsch (Germany) has currently published a guide on the subject of "Nutritional and Environmental Education" for day-care centers and schools.

The cooperation project between the project REFRAME - Towards a Regional Food Frame funded by the Interreg B - North Sea Programme 2014 - 2020 and Climate Protection Management funded by the National Climate Protection Initiative aims to provide information and inspiration to organisations in the education sector, in order to integrate the topics of nutrition, environment, sustainability and climate into their educational work.
To this end, regional educational offers, funding programmes and information from the above-mentioned topics have been clearly presented in a guide. This guide provides educators with a handy overview of the places that invite them to go on excursions, presents opportunities for project programmes and presents numerous other ideas.

The areas of sustainability and climate protection have become increasingly relevant in recent years, so that they should also be taken into account more in the everyday life of educational institutions. The guide is intended to support teachers in this respect.
It is planned to update the publication annually. Those responsible organisation in the Wesermarsch district invite all providers who have not yet been included in the brochure to contact them to present their services in the second edition.

The guide (in German) is available as a printed edition which is sent to day-care centres and schools in the Wesermarsch region. In addition, the publication is also available to all interested parties as a pdf-download.
