Waste management services
The aim is to create opportunity for all activities/workplaces in the City of Malmö to sort their waste with a common contract for waste management/waste collection. Today different departments have contracts with different suppliers, and all workplaces don’t even have collection for separate waste. With the new contact the aim is to also measure waste, to be able to work with the behavioural change aspect later on. We will include criteria on fossil free vehicles. The contract will decrease residual waste and increase sorted waste that can be recycled. As a result of this pilot City of Malmö will have a base line to be able to measure waste and monitor change as a step towards minimizing waste.
