Procurement as a Building Block for Circular Construction
On 7th September the webinar Procurement as a Building Block for Circular Construction was run as part of the ProCirc project, contributing to our objective of facilitating transnational exchanges of information on circular procurement within sectors. Peter Ramsey from Business in the Community hosted the webinar in which four ProCirc pilot projects presented their live construction projects which are trialling new circular economy approaches and took part in panel discussions on topics including setting a circular ambition and measuring impact. Over 110 people from across Europe registered to watch the webinar, which is available to catch up on here.
We would like to acknowledge the following ProCirc Partners for their contributions:
Business in the Community for organising and running the webinar.
Zero Waste Scotland for providing an overview of circular economy in the construction sector.
OVAM and Kamp C for presenting their pilot projects.
We also extend our thanks to Aberdeenshire Council (pilot supported by Zero Waste Scotland) and The Co-operative Group (pilot supported by Business in the Community) for presenting their pilots.
