Lessons Learned when beginning with Circular Procurement
The City of Malmö, partner in the Interreg ProCirc project, is just about to finalize the municipalities first project on circular procurement, Circular PP, funded by the Interreg Baltic Sea program. The Circular PP project is, just like ProCirc a project about exploring Circular Procurement, but in a smaller scale. In the Circular PP project three partners; Aalborg municipality, the Latvian Environmental Investment Fund and City of Malmö have done six pilots with circular ambitions. This pilots have been executed in different sectors like ICT, furniture, waste management, catering and outdoor learning environment. For Malmö, the Circular PP project gave head start into circular procurement and the city is very eager to build on to these experiences and continue to develop other tenders in a circular direction during the ProCirc project.
The just released Lesson Learned report shares the lesson learned from the three project partners and gives us insight in the world of circular procurement.
