Periscope participated in ELBE event on Blue Energy on 21. May
A seminar dedicated to Blue Energy took place on 21. May at the Hotel Waterfront in Gothenburg, southern Sweden. The seminar, organised by the ELBE project, aimed to strengthen the supply chain for blue energy in Europe, by highlighting opportunities and solutions from several perspectives, including materials, development, design and manufacturing. This opened up possibilities for new collaborations and strengthening the supply chains. International speakers highlighted the state of the art and demonstrated ways to overcome the specific challenges of wave, tidal and floating offshore wind energy. There were B2B meetings and a possibility to network with key players from the Swedish offshore energy scene.
RISE, Periscope partner, is also a member of ELBE. ELBE groups five European clusters with top expert companies and R&D organizations in Blue Energy, contributing to positioning Europe as the world´s technological and industrial leader in Blue Energy. The project has a special focus on floating offshore wind, wave and tidal energy and their respective supply chains.
