Connecting the Dutch maritime sector internationally
Marnix Krikke, from the Association of Netherlands Maritime Industry, explains why they are involved in the PERISCOPE project and uses offshore wind farms as an example.
NML works closely with Netherlands Maritime Technology (NMT), representing shipyards, marine equipment suppliers and service providers. Marnix is a naval architect and responsible for everything the industry does to promote maritime innovations and remove obstacles to them. His work is based on the conviction that joint efforts to acquire knowledge and innovation add value to businesses. The Netherlands Maritime Technology (NMT) trade association is the primary representative of the Dutch maritime technology sector. The 400+ members include shipyards, marine equipment suppliers and service providers.
