Business Accelerator for Offshore Renewables in North-east England

A £3.5m Technology, Innovation & Green Growth for Offshore Renewables (TIGGOR) programme has been established to support the acceleration of businesses in the North East England region. The programme is designed to boost supply chain growth and productivity in the region’s burgeoning offshore wind and subsea sectors, as well as encourage market entrance of companies that currently do not operate in these industries.
TIGGOR is being run by Periscope partner, ORE Catapult. International energy firms are also involved: the French firm, EDF Renewables, and Norwegian Equinor are also part of in the programme. In addition, the Offshore Wind Growth Partnership (OWGP) will run a supply chain and business growth support programme.
