Blue growth – future perspectives for smart specialization
Tuesday 9 October, during the European Week of Regions and Cities, we will host an event highlighting sustainable business development in emerging blue market targeting public administration. By challenging the audience through a game of Kahoot built on the results of the PERISCOPE foresight analysis, we aim to demonstrate the need for the public sector to enhance smart specialization strategies and support businesses and knowledge institutions to take advantage of the opportunities within emerging blue markets.
We will give the stage to large national players such as the Dutch martime network Nederland Maritiem Land and Offshoreenergy.dk, the official national knowledge centre and innovation network for the Danish offshore industry to give the perspective of the industry. Following will be the Interreg North Sea project DUAL PORTS and the Maritime Cluster in West Sweden, putting the emphasis on international cooperation and SMEs.
