The important work taking place at PARTRIDGE Demonstration Farms

01 December 2020 - Published by Francis Buner

Due to the Covid-19 epidemic we were unfortunately unable to run any farm walks during 2020.  However, we were keen to show you some of the measures the farm has implemented for farmland wildlife and so are creating some short videos detailing the work that has been undertaken and why it is important.

In this first video, demo site manager, Fiona Torrance talks about the pollinator mix and how this brings many benefits to arable farming including increasing farmland birds, pollinating insects and also replenishing nutrients back into the soil to enhance crop production.
