PARTRIDGE Farm Walk: Feeding birds in winter

Join the members of the project team as they guide you round Whitburgh Farms, one of the 10 key demonstration sites of the Interreg PARTRIDGE project.
During the walk, we will discuss the PARTRIDGE project but focus on how land managers can help farmland birds through the winter – one of the toughest times of the year, with practical measures.
What cover crops do birds like? Where should they go? How important are feeders?
Where: Whitburgh Farms Office, Middle Whitburgh, Pathhead, EH37 5SR.
When: 19th November, 2018, 10:00-12:00.
