04 September 2018 - Published by Paul Stephens
Join us on Thursday 27 September for a farm walk at Rotherfield Farms, one of our PARTRIDGE project demonstration sites, near Alton, in Hampshire.
The tour, which is being hosted alongside the National Farmers Union (NFU) will focus on the creation of suitable habitat for farmland wildlife recovery, using measures available under current agri-environment schemes.
It will be led by Dr Francis Buner (senior conservation scientist, Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust) with Joe Edwards (estate manager, Rotherfield Farms), Tim Furbank (game cover seed supply specialist for Oakbank Game and Conservation) and Harold Makant (lead adviser at Natural England, Winchester).
Meet at Colemore Church (GU34 3RX) on 27 September for a prompt 2.00pm start. Expected finish time 5.00pm. Please wear suitable clothing and walking shoes.
Book your place by email (south.east@nfu.org.uk) or call 01730 711950.
