Sample collection and documentation * Field trip 7-8 October 2019

Colleagues from VLIZ, AWI and Ikerconsulting were on board of R/V "Simon Stevin" and the work boat from 7-9 October to collect the mussel samples put out in August 2019.
They visited 3 locations off the Flemish coast:

- Vorpostenboot V-1302 John Mahn
- Belwind Windmill farm (collect comparative samples)
- HMS Basilisk.

Divers went to the positions, brought back the mussel samples to the work boat. After return to the mother ship the sample bag was opened, the mussels dissected and deep frozen for further bio-chemical analysis.
