The first fully online Living Lab on Sustainable Hospitals was a success
Following a plenary session, which gave the participants a deeper understanding of the challenges at hand, within Resources and Energy, a 2 hour matchmaking session - using Interregs B2Match tool - commenced. The meetings gave the challenge owner groups valuable introductions to solutions that are ready for market and has a fit for the niche market that is the hospital system.
As usual in the the Living Lab concept, the solution providers had been screened by the Challenge Owner groups before setting up meeting, in order to ensure a minimum of fit between challenges and solutions, in order to heighten the chance of collaboration, after the sessions.
Especially the Resource Challenge Owner group were happy with the session stating that: “The Living Lab tool has proven itself an extremely effective concept and approach, when searching for solutions outside the national markets” - Maria Gaden, Chief Project Manager, Sustainable Hospitals
The Challenge Owner Groups are right now in the process of discussing and evaluating the possibility of collaborations with several of the solution providers who participated in the matchmaking sessions.
