Renewable Energy Hamburg cluster at Husum Wind 2017 exhibition

“Welcome to the home of wind energy” – This has been the claim of the onshore exhibition Husum Wind for many years now. In 2017, the claim made more sense than before. The storm, “Sebastian”, almost blew the exhibition tents away. Nevertheless, exhibitors, participants and the team of Husum Wind kept calm and carried on.

“Northern Connections” and another EU project “Green Power Electronics” as well as the German project “Northern German Energy Transition (Norddeutsche EnergieWende 4.0)” formed part of the Renewable Energy Hamburg booth. In the course of the convention programme the cluster initiated an expert talk on trends in the German tendering system. “Renewable Energy Hamburg – Energy Systems of the Future” presented itself with six sub-exhibitiors and two logo partners: EDF EN Germany, Fraunhofer ISIT, GLS Bank, Reetec GmbH, SGS Germany GmbH, Thüga Erneuerbare Energien GmbH, Carneades GmbH and Windsourcing GmbH.

In total, almost 700 exhibitors and probably 15,000 visitors participated in the famous German onshore exhibition.

In 2018, Renewable Energy Hamburg will exhibit at the global on & offshore exhibition WindEnergy Hamburg from September 25th until September 28th.
