Northern Connections

Denmark’s Most Energetic Cluster

House of Energy, a national energy cluster in Denmark, is the gathering point for energy companies of all types and sizes, and for every link in the value chain.

One of our main purposes is to connect our members with the rising global energy sector by facilitating system export, strategic cluster cooperation and cross-border R&D projects.

Stronger Networks across Borders
Denmark is a pioneer when it comes to innovation in sustainable energy. Danish research and development have paved the way for modern solutions within the area of wind energy. Furthermore, there is a long-standing tradition for district heating, which is the most prevalent form of domestic heating in Denmark. In this way – and in many other ways – Denmark is a living lab for various sustainable energy technologies.

We have many frontrunner companies, which together with universities have a unique research capacity and tradition of collaboration and developing new sustainable energy technologies and not least test them, use them and bring them to market.

For these reasons, it is only natural that House of Energy is a part of Northern Connections. The collaborations can lead to growth and jobs within the energy sector across the North Sea Region.

Further, we see a great potential in Northern Connections as we believe that it leads to new, innovative networks within the field of energy. The ultimate goals is that more small and medium sized companies will contribute to developing sustainable energy solutions across the North Sea Region.
