Identification of remoter area's bottlenecks in intermodal network (2021)
The purpose of this document is to focus on the effort of A 3.1 Bottlenecks in intermodal networks of the North Sea Region (report 1). This is the first report of a three-part report. The other two parts describe smart port solutions for remoter areas (report 2) and inland waterway regulations (report 3). In the application form of the European Project, several aspects are mentioned that need to be incorporated in this report and will form the structure of this report. The focus of this report is laid on core and periphery harbours. It is known that each port type has its own bottlenecks that need to be studied.
