Municipality of Vechta
Vechta uses digital applications which facilitate planning processes that serve the municipality, citizens, staff of Vechta by revealing actual demands. The municipality of Vechta has experience in international projects (EFRE, ESF, Erasmus plus); project work in multicultural teams in the Netherlands and India; networking with citizens, SME’s, scientific institutions, the press and interest groups.
City of Vechta will contribute to development of a local digital innovation culture and support growth in the North Sea Region by promoting sustainable decision making, that takes demands of stakeholders into account. Vechta will participate as a project partner in all three workpackages in order to provide employees with needed skills, learn how smart utilization of data on demands works and which smart services can be applied.
