10 Government partners of project Like! met in November in Roeselare, Belgium. Roeselare is one of the partners in this North Sea Region project, and hosting the meeting. Mayor of the city Kris Declercq and enthusiastic promotor of project Like!, welcomed the partners of project Like! in the beautiful town hall and called them the "Transformers" of public services. Project Like! aims to improve public services by means of digital innovation.

In recent months, the project partners generated project plans for innovative ways of co-creating and serving the local public, based on data and inclusion. The goal of this three-day meeting in Roeselare was to present the progress of the project and to enhance transnationality. This way, projects can be implemented in other cities. Project Like! stresses the importance of knowledge sharing, therefore newsletters will be published shortly.

Examples of transnational projects:

  • Using Visuals in letters (Dutch read) – to improve readability of letters by target groups.
  • Smart Senior – on how to improve the digital skills from senior citizens and make communication with the municipality smarter in the future.
  • Customer contact and Interaction (Dutch long read) – a Dutch co-creation project which will be transformed within Like! into a transnational paper.
