Deployment Dutch measurement station

On 15 October the Jomopans measurement station for The Netherlands has been deployed at a location 50 km west of the isle of Texel. This station is one of the 14 stations to be deployed for Jomopans. More than half of the stations are now operational.
The Dutch station is an autonomous station, which is anchored to the bottom with a hydrophone floating at approx. 2 m above the sea bottom.
The deployment was performed by WaterProof BV. from the Rijkswaterstaat survey vessel Zirfaea.
The results of the first measurements are expected to be available at the end of 2018.
