What are the logistical requirements for a Smart Renovation Factory?
The Blueprint development of a Smart Renovation Factory requires a lot of planning efforts. Among other things, panels have to be designed, production lines have to be constructed, numbers of workers have to be determined, and the necessary infrastructure has to be specified. However, logistics processes should also not be underestimated.
The task in the project was to design supply chain concepts in order to be able to handle the logistical requirements of such a Smart Factory and, at the same time, to realize the procurement, production and distribution processes autonomously and sustainably. In addition to production logistics, inbound, outbound and construction site logistics were defined as fields of action, for which fully comprehensive solutions were developed.
