INDU-ZERO will be one of the show presenters during Beyond 2020, the World Sustainable Built Environment Online Conference. Due to Covid-19 instead of a physical event in Gothenburg (Sweden) last June the conference will take place online in November this year (2-4 November). Project manager Ulla-Britt Krämer will present a paper session about the project.
The World Sustainable Built Environment Conference is held every three years and is considered to be one of the world’s most important conferences and forums in the field of sustainable built environment. The next conference is hosted by Chalmers University of Technology and RISE Research Institutes of Sweden in collaboration with Johanneberg Science Park and the City of Gothenburg.
The mission of the conference is to link the global building sector to the UN Sustainable Development Goals and to define its role towards the achievement of 2030 objectives, by setting up a roadmap of actions that will guide the whole sector during the years between 2020 and 2030, and thus ‘beyond’ 2020.
INDU-ZERO offers a solution for sustainable renovations of 22 million houses in the North Sea Region by developing a blueprint for a smart factory that can mass produce renovation packages for half of the current prize.
