Workshop kickstarts In For Care in Denmark

Students, volunteers, representatives from the municipality of Esbjerg and from UC SYD have held their first workshop to start the Danish part of the project In for Care.

The aim is in co-creation to develop an app with health educational tools for voluntary activities towards vulnerable citizens.

– It is an interesting project. For us it is a good thing to cooperate with volunteers, said a nurse from the municipal of Esbjerg, Christina Mischorr-Boch.

At the workshop, the attendees participated in different creative exercises. The aim was to agree on the purpose of the cooperation, how to work with the development of the tool, and how to move on from here.

The participants had many interesting discussions, and everybody seemed positive.

– We are very much looking forward to further coorperation and co-creation. The volunteer representatives come with such good energy, said Associate Professor Lene Dahl Lund at UC SYD after the workshop.
