Save the Date! The 5th IMMERSE Transnational Estuary Exchange Lab in Hull 22-23 March 2023
13 September 2022 - Published by Kraftvaerk
IMMERSE is organising the fifth Transnational Estuary Exchange Lab (TEEL) on 22-23 March 2023 to be held in person in Hull, UK. This will be the fifth in a series of region-wide events organised by the IMMERSE project.
The main theme of this final exchange lab is emerging pollutants, relating to the additional activities as part of the IMMERSE extension on microplastics and sediment bound pollutants. The sessions will introduce the topics, provide information about the status in North Sea Region estuaries, explore solutions to mitigate the effects, give examples of such solutions and allow for discussion.
On the second day will include a site visit to the Skeffling managed realignment site in the Humber estuary.
Anyone with an interest in North Sea Region estuary management is encouraged to attend. IMMERSE invites estuary managers, experts and stakeholders to share knowledge and experiences on the topics of microplastics and sediment bound pollutants and provides a platform to network.
Registration will open later this year. Information and outcomes from the previous TEEL are available here.
