The winning company, ULEMCo has promised to work alongside the local college, NESCol to create training materials visually depicting the process of decommissioning a hydrogen vehicle at the end of its life.

Decommissioning is an oft forgotten aspect of Hydrogen Transport, with the majority of individuals solely focused on getting more and more hydrogen-fueled-vehicles up and running, but it is a vital component of the cycle. The skills garnered from the ULEMCo-NESCol decommissioning training materials will help develop a vital resource for the hydrogen economy & ensure that the hydrogen transport sector promotes safety and sustainability through-out the life-cycle of vehicles.

Further details of the training materials will come soon!
