The results are in! So far, HyTrEc2 vehicles have accrued a tank to wheel saving of 188 TTW tonnes of CO2e! This is roughly equivalent to the amount of CO2 sequestered by 250 acres or 1 km2 of forest a year (https://tinyurl.com/j3glbf8)

Many of the HyTrEc2 vehicles will have filled up atThe Aberdeen City Hydrogen Energy Storage site (ACHES), which delivered 1872.98 kg H2 in the 2019/20 financial year! The nearly 2 tonnes of hydrogen fuel resulted in ACHES having a tank to wheel saving of TTW Savings of 81,064 kg.CO2e in the financial year 2019/20, alone. 81 tonnes of CO2e is equivilent to the amount of carbondioxide a 100 Acre forest would sequester in a year (https://tinyurl.com/j3glbf8). To put this into content ACHES is just over half an Acre, so this small amount of land allocated to a hydrogen refueling station is a real overachiever when it comes to saving the planet!
