This year's SHFCA Conference took place in Edinburgh on 19th - 20th October
Aberdeen City Council were speaking and had a stall representing HyTrEc2 at the SHFCA Annual Conference this year.
The 14th SHFCA Annual Conference programme brought together SHFCA members and invited expert speakers from across Scotland, the UK and Europe to explore the opportunities for growth using hydrogen and fuel cells to enable the low carbon energy system transition and help deliver key targets.
Headline speakers for the Conference sessions included:
Kerry Ann Adamson, Worley and the "Partnerships for H2 Growth"
Fergus Tickell, Scottish Gas Networks with "Growing the H2 Economy in SE Scotland"
John Clipsham, Protium Green Solutions and "Making it Real and Overcoming Challenges"
Louise Napier, the HyTrEc2 Project Manager also spoke at the final session on "Building Early H2 Demand" and flagged the Aberdeen Hydrogen Hub and the opportunity for regions to raise demand by collaborating with each other and developing projects to raise demand for hydrogen through fleet retrofitting programmes, both of which have been undertaken by the HyTrEc2 project.
