Blenders (formerly known as Strategic Projects Kempen) is a non-profit project organisation with a profound knowledge in the development and the implementation of new initiatives for SMEs within Flanders.Thematic competences and experiences
Blenders can rely on a large network of partners, organisations and companies. Throughout the years they have implemented many new projects/tools/methodologies within local SMEs to stimulate new mindsets, improve business development and to increase growth. They are founding father of OMC with whom they collaborate on a complementary base.
Benefit for the organisation from participating in the project
GrowIn 4.0 has a profound goal to test and develop new tools and methods for SMEs, which is in direct line with the ambition of Blenders. Together with OMC they have the long term ambition to set up a community of manufacturing companies within the region, therefore the cross-border knowledge and expertise gained through this project and the partnership are very much welcomed to sustain local SMEs, but also to guide them into an international network of partners, suppliers, customers etc.
Main role
OMC has strong knowledge and expertise on technological developments, prototyping and high volume manufacturing necessary for SMEs to grow into Industry 4.0. Blenders has the expertise on the dissemination of these new insights through networking events, training, workshops or 1-to-1 consulting. Therefore Blenders will team up with OMC to be active in WP 3, 4 and 5. In this way we ensure not only a correct knowledge and experience exchange but also a correct implementation of the project's ambitions.
