Interregional meeting Ghent: company visits Nuscience & Make Lab
On the occasion of an interregional meeting, the representatives also visit a exemplary company. In Flanders, we visited 'factory of the future' Nuscience, and the Make Lab by Flanders Make.Nuscience Group, based in Drongen close to Ghent, offers a range of innovative and effective young animal nutrition concepts, customized premixes, and high-performance concentrates, additives and functional feed ingredients. These play a major role in animal health, well-being and overall performance.
The factory, in use since 2015, excells in 7 important domains: World Class Production Tools, End-to-end Engineering, Digital Factory, Human Centered Production, Networked Factory, Eco Factory and Smart Production Systems.

Next, we visited the Make Lab, the mobile demonstration and research lab of Flanders Make. We enjoyed a demonstration of cobots an AR.
