Another productive meeting in Groningen, The NetherlandsFrom 5 to 7 November, the Dutch project partners organised a Smart Industry Tour and an interregional meeting at Hanze Hogeschool, Groningen. Inspiring visits and demonstrations were followed by a productive and enthousiastic meeting.
On Monday 5th of November, we visited the Digital Society Hub in Groningen. The project partners and stakeholders were given the chance to try out the 'Smart Industry Masterclass' and gave feedback to the developers.
On Tuesday 6th of November, project partners and stakeholders were treated to a 'Smart Factory Tour', visiting Philips Drachten and Technologies Added in Emmen. This tour was organised together with Region of Smart Factories.
Philips Drachten gave us a tour in the production facilities and inspired us with the story of product development and lean manufacturing.
Technologies Added is the first Shared Smart Factory in Europe, fully based on smart industry. It is accessible to start-ups and SMEs.
Wednesday November 7th was exclusive to the project partners, who discussed how best to develop and test the tools and methods that are a very important aspect of the project.
