Work Package Six - Understanding the COVID New Normal

Responsible Beneficiary - Provincie Drenthe

A project extension with additional budget was approved in June 2021. An additional workpackage was created, WP6, with the aim to build on earlier G-PaTRA work and address some of the new challenges which have arisen due to the pandemic. The key deliverables for this WP are: a transnational COVID workshop held in Aberdeenshire; a report on setting policy scenarios and pathways towards a new normal low carbon passenger transport; and a use case in the Orkney Islands.

To complement and extend existing G-PaTRA activity, there will be new lighthouse demonstration projects which have been developed based on learning from earlier G-PaTRA work, and which will address the changing environment of rural transport during the pandemic. More information on the new WP activities is available here.
