G-PaTRA partner member Lina Vassdal spoke with the Norwegian Hydrogen Forum about the possibilities of using hydrogen trains for passenger and freight transport in this article on their website (Norwegian language only).
The article speaks about the potential for linking up existing electrified routes with hydrogen trains so passengers don't have to change; connecting this network to hydrogen ferries and busses, and considering hydrogen train replacements for the lines with no electrified routes or those with diesel trains.
Lina presented this information and the conclusions of the G-PaTRA report into the hydrogen business case at a seminar on the Raumabanen (The Rauma railway line), organised by the Rauma Labor Party.
