Thursday May 19th 2022 @ 15:00 - 16:00 (CEST)

Built Environment - Smarter Transformation (BE-ST), formally known as Construction Scotland Innovation Centre, has completed the UK’s first exoskeletons field lab trials for construction and manufacturing. This free-to-attend webinar will focus on what EXSKALLERATE has achieved so far, findings from the lab trials, and how you can explore exoskeletons in your own company through participation in the project.

Supported by Interreg North Sea Region Programme through the EXSKALLERATE project, BE-ST is offering valuable trials for people in the construction sector looking to explore exoskeletons that support long term health and safety benefits. Pilot sites are now being scoped, where you can trial the exoskeletons suits at your place of work or at BE-ST’s Innovation Factory at Blantyre, South Lanarkshire, Scotland.

At this webinar you will hear findings from the UK’s first exoskeletons labs presented by partners from National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS), University of Strathclyde and BE-ST. You will also get the opportunity to ask questions about the suits, the testing and analysis so far and how you can shape the future of exoskeletons.

Pilot sites, where you can trial the exoskeletons at your place of work or at BE-ST, are available to SMEs in or near central Scotland. All trials, workshops and demonstrations are completely free to you.

The webinar will be hosted by Alan Johnston, Impact Manager, Built Environment – Smarter Transformation
