CORA trainings: Uptake of internet and internet services
“Uptake of internet and internet services" means the regular use of internet and e-services by people, enterprises and administration. This indicator is used to estimate how and if the use of internet has become a tool of everyday life. In this context, the main barriers to get connected and effectively use internet services are lack of knowledge & skills, affordability, accessibility and lack of awareness.
In response, local, regional and national digital agendas can set up supportive measures designed to enhance the awareness of the different target groups in order to increase the use of internet and digital services. This training material provides information on how local and regional authorities can overcome challenges to enhance the uptake of internet and digital services, within their own organization as well as among their community, consisting of residents and local businesses.
