COM³ pilots: Hüttener Berge is launching its brand-new online marketplace “Heimatware”
On 17 May 2021, the new online marketplace Heimatware (Shopping in My Village platform) was officially launched with the presence of Mr. Jan Philipp Albrecht, Schleswig-Holstein Minister of Energy, Agriculture, the Environment, Nature and Digitalization. COM³ Partner Amt Hüttener Berge developed this integrated online platform, as part of its pilot activities in the project. The goal is to increase the attractiveness of its 16 rural communities by improving the regional economic environment with support of digital technologies.
The local online marketplace will be combined with a delivery service that enables domestic companies to compete with bigger online portals that operate across local boundaries. The platform has been developed by the startup LoDeli and the investment has been made possible through the Interreg North Sea project COM³.
Amt Hüttener Berge, as COM³ pilot partner, also contributes to creating the COM³ support model by carrying out local design thinking workshops with the aim of understanding the needs of local businesses.
